The short version
We're a small leather workshop in Lewes, Delaware. We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. We collect the minimum we need to ship you a wallet and run a tiny analytics setup so we can see which campaigns bring people here.

1. Who we are
Hawkside Goods, LLC is a leather goods company registered in Delaware. Our workshop and registered address is 224 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958.
2. What we collect
At checkout
- Name and shipping address — to deliver the wallet.
- Email address — for order confirmation and shipping updates.
- Phone number — used only by the carrier on the day of delivery.
- Engraving text (if you chose to add it) — held only long enough to engrave the wallet, then permanently deleted from our systems.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processor; the company itself sees only the last four digits and authorization status.
From your visit
- IP address and approximate region.
- Pages viewed, time on site, the page that referred you here.
- Browser, operating system, and screen size.
3. Cookies
First-party cookies hold your cart contents and remember your cookie-banner choice. One analytics service sets its own cookie to count return visits. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the site itself.
4. Who we share data with
- Payment processor — handles your transaction.
- Shipping carrier — receives your name and address.
- Hosting provider — Cloudflare Pages.
- Analytics — aggregate-only.
- Email service — order and support emails.
5. How long we keep it
Order records: kept indefinitely so you can claim the lifetime warranty. Server logs and analytics: 90 days, then rotated out.
6. Your rights (CCPA / state privacy laws)
If you live in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or any state with comparable privacy legislation, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, get a copy of it, correct it, and delete it. We respond to requests within 45 days. Exercising your rights never penalizes you.
7. "Do Not Sell My Personal Information"
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or for monetary or other valuable consideration. There is therefore no opt-out to set; the answer is permanently "no."

8. EU / UK residents (GDPR / UK-GDPR)
You have the same access, correction, and deletion rights as U.S. customers, plus portability, restriction, and the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. Our lawful basis is contractual necessity for order data and legitimate interest for analytics. You can object to analytics processing at any time via the cookie banner.
9. Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
10. Security
HTTPS everywhere. PCI-DSS-certified payment processor — we never store full card numbers. Order records held in controlled-access storage with encrypted backups. If we ever discover a breach, you'll be notified by email within 72 hours of confirmation.
11. International transfers
The company and our hosting are based in the United States. For orders from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to the U.S. for fulfillment. For EU / UK customers, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses for that transfer.
12. Accessibility statement
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA on hawksidegoods.com — semantic HTML, sufficient color contrast, keyboard-navigable controls, descriptive image alt text. If you find a part of the site you can't use comfortably, please email [email protected] with the page and a brief description of the issue. We acknowledge accessibility reports within one business day and aim to fix issues within 30 days. If a fix will take longer, we'll explain why and provide a workaround.
13. Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change, we update the date at the top of the page and post a notice on the home page for 30 days. Substantive changes (a new category of data sharing) require renewed consent.
