2. Who we are
Hawkside Goods, LLC is a leather goods workshop registered in Delaware. Address: 224 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958.
3. Pricing
Prices listed are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your ship-to state. Promotional pricing and bundle discounts may end without prior notice.
If we list a wallet for less than we intend to sell it, we'll email you and offer either a full refund or a chance to pay the difference. We do not silently bill more than you saw at checkout.
4. Order acceptance
Your checkout submission is an offer to buy. We accept the offer when we send the confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse any order — sold-out color, failed fraud check, history of excessive returns — and will refund in full if we refuse.
5. Payment
We accept all major U.S.-issued credit cards through our payment processor. Payments charge at order placement. Declined cards mean the order is canceled; we do not retry the charge.
6. Shipping
Free ground shipping on orders $75 and up in the contiguous 48 states. Orders ship within 2 business days (3 days if engraving was selected) and typically arrive 3–5 business days later. Alaska, Hawaii, and APO/FPO addresses are available with a surcharge calculated at checkout. International shipping to Canada and the UK by request — email [email protected] for a quote before ordering.
Risk of loss transfers to you when the carrier marks the package delivered. If your tracking shows delivered but the wallet isn't there, contact us within 7 days and we'll work with the carrier.
7. Returns — the 30-day window
If you don't love the wallet, return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. The wallet can be unboxed and lightly handled — that's fine. Visible wear, scratches, or staining from carry use are also fine if returned within the 30 days. We pay return shipping within the lower 48. Refunds land on the original payment method within 5 business days of receipt.
Returns must be in original condition: not soaked, not stained beyond ordinary handling, not deeply gouged. Engraved wallets are non-returnable unless the engraving itself was an error on our part (in which case we replace at our cost).
8. The lifetime leather warranty
Every wallet is covered by a lifetime warranty against (a) stitching failure (any seam coming apart in normal use), (b) leather delamination, (c) split or torn leather not caused by puncture or knife damage, (d) RFID-shielding layer failure, and (e) any manufacturing defect — for the life of the original owner. To claim, email [email protected] with your order number and a clear photo of the issue. If we agree the wallet failed under warranty, we repair or replace it free, including return shipping.
What the warranty does not cover
- Aesthetic wear and patina. Full-grain leather darkens, develops a soft sheen, and shows the marks of daily use. This is desirable, not a defect, and not warranted as a "failure."
- Damage from misuse. Knife cuts, fire damage, pets chewing the wallet, leaving it in a washing machine, prolonged submersion in water.
- Lost or stolen wallets. We're a small shop, not an insurance carrier; we can't replace a wallet that's been lost.
- Color shift from prolonged sun exposure. Leather will change tone if left in direct sun for months at a stretch. Normal.
9. Engraving
Engraving is permanent and is performed before shipment. Engraved wallets cannot be returned for refund (unless the engraving was an error on our side). Please double-check spelling and capitalization before submitting. We will email you a preview within 24 hours if anything looks ambiguous — your reply confirms approval and we engrave from there.
10. Acceptable use of the website
You may not (a) attempt to access any non-public area, (b) interfere with the operation of the site, (c) use a scraper or bot to harvest content or pricing, or (d) submit fake or test orders. Site content — photographs, descriptions, the brand name, the logo — is copyright Hawkside Goods, LLC and may not be reused without written permission.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the products in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Delaware law. Disputes that can't be resolved through good-faith conversation are submitted to binding arbitration in Sussex County, Delaware, except either party may bring a small-claims action.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; new versions apply to orders placed after the update. Orders already in flight are governed by the terms in force when you checked out.
